// FAQ

Common Questions

Is a cement patio the same as a concrete patio?

Yes — “cement patio” is just a common way people say “concrete patio.” Cement is the powder that binds the mix; concrete is the finished material. When we pour a patio, the result is a concrete slab, whatever you call it.

How long does a concrete patio last in New Brunswick?

A properly poured patio with good base prep and drainage should last 20 to 30 years or more in our climate. The slabs that fail early are almost always the ones poured without enough base depth or control joints — which is exactly what we get right.

Can you replace a cracked or uneven walkway?

Yes. We tear out the old concrete, re-prep the base, and pour a new level walkway that ties in cleanly with existing steps, patios, or driveways. If only part of a walkway has settled, we’ll assess whether a full or partial replacement makes the most sense.
